Belmont’s new Athletics Practice Facility will serve as the primary training home for Belmont’s nationally-regarded men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball programs, and complement the existing game day environment at the Curb Event Center.
In addition to housing two full courts for basketball and volleyball, the two-story, 45,000-square-foot facility will feature athletic training and strength and conditioning space, a video room with theatre-style seating, locker rooms, coaches’ offices, conference rooms, equipment rooms and team lounge areas.
Adjacent to the new practice facility is Belmont’s South Garage. Opening in the spring of 2021, the garage will offer 830 parking spaces and feature six NCAA Division I regulation tennis courts on the roof.
The garage facility will share a lobby with the new Athletics Practice facility and will include space for team locker rooms and coaches offices. The tennis courts will be available for play by members of the campus community when not in use by the Belmont tennis teams.
