Dickens Hall

Dickens Hall opened in August 2012 and is named after Marty Dickens, the current chairman of Belmont’s Board of Trustees. This hall is designated as a sophomore-only hall for 290 male and female students.

Dickens features a hybrid style of housing, apartment style with a residence hall setting. The building features four and five bedroom apartments with a kitchen area and bathroom. The kitchen has a full-size stove and refrigerator, microwave, and table and chairs. Each bedroom is fully furnished with a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, and dresser. The living room area has 1 couch, 2 arm chairs, coffee table, and TV stand. The flooring is tile throughout the apartment.

Laundry services are available on the basement level. All utilities, cable service, and internet service are included in the cost for Dickens. Students who live in Dickens are required to have a meal plan.
