The
R. Winston Morris Tuba Collection Museum at Tennessee Technological
University is home to the world’s largest collection of tuba-related
items, as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records®. This
extraordinary collection features over 2,000 unique items amassed
between 1960 and 2020, showcasing the rich history and evolution of the
tuba and its significance in music. Among the collection are rare
artifacts connected to the esteemed Tennessee Tech Tuba Ensemble,
including professional instruments and personal memorabilia from R.
Winston Morris, the ensemble’s founder.
