Richardson Hall

Adams State’s first, and for years only, building was named in honor of the University’s first president, Ira Richardson. Administrative Offices located in Richardson Hall include: Academic Affairs, Accessibility Services, Admissions, Alumni Relations Office, Counseling Center, Financial AidPublic Relations and Marketing, Human Resources, Enrollment Management, Foundation, Graduate SchoolPresident, Professional & Continuing Education, Student Services, and  Upward Bound.

Inside the main entrance, the Welcome Center is a one-stop shop for visitors seeking information about the University and prospective students who would like a campus tour. The Richardson Hall Auditorium hosts concerts, guest speakers, and other public events.

The Luther Bean Museum, on the second floor, has a collection of Native American pottery and weavings, Spanish Colonial art of retablos and bultos, and two galleries with works on paper and bronze sculptures.

The Nursing Department is located on the second floor with a contemporary simulation lab, classroom and office space, and lounge areas for majors.
