Thrailkill Hall

Thrailkill 000

Thrailkill Hall opened its doors in 2006 and is named in honor of Belmont's past board chairman Larry Thrailkill and his wife, Jan. Thrailkill served on the university's Board of Trustees since 1980 and led the board as chairman during a period of rapid growth for the university. The building accommodates 324 upperclassmen and freshmen males and females in a double occupancy, suite-style layout.

Thrailkill rooms are suite style. The rooms are 16' x 16' and are double occupancy. Rooms are furnished with 2 twin beds, 2 dressers, 2 wardrobes, 2 desks, and 2 chairs. There are two triple rooms on each floor located at the end of each wing. Internet and cable hook-ups are available in each room. Individual heating and air units are in each room and are controlled by the residents. The floors in the rooms are tiled.

The front desk is located in the lobby on the main entrance floor. Laundry facilities with eight washers/dryers and vending machines are available on the main level. There is a classroom on the 5th floor that students can use to study, hang out, or hold meetings. The 2nd floor lobby provides a great hang out area with couches and flat screen TV. Thrailkill also boasts an attached parking garage.
