Selke Hall, a beloved part of our campus and the oldest
residence hall, offers a classic and communal living experience.
Selke Hall stands as a charming piece of our University’s
history, embodying the traditional style of dormitory living. This residence
hall provides cozy accommodations with rooms designed for two people, perfect
for making lifelong friends and creating unforgettable college memories.
The building features a common space where you can unwind
and connect with fellow students. Whether you’re looking to hit the books in a
relaxed environment or challenge friends to a game of pool, this area is
designed to be a versatile spot for both study and leisure.
For your convenience, laundry facilities are located in the
basement, making it easy to manage your laundry without having to leave the
building.
Selke Hall is organized with a co-ed living arrangement: men
reside on the top and bottom floors, while women have their own space on the
middle floor. This layout fosters a balanced and inclusive living environment,
allowing for both privacy and community interaction.
Choosing Selke Hall means stepping into a vibrant, historic
part of campus life where you can start your adventure and experience the
camaraderie of student living. We’re excited to welcome you to DSU—where the
Hawks are up and your new home awaits!
