The former home of SFA’s basketball teams before the Johnson Coliseum’s construction in 1973, Shelton Gym has served as the permanent home venue to SFA’s volleyball team since 2000. The venue offers seating that hovers over the court, with students often sitting along the rail as their feet dangle over the wall, providing a unique, and often daunting, environment during game days. The gym is connected to SFA’s Norton HPE Complex and only steps away from the Student Recreation Center.
