Innovation isn’t just a part of what we do, it’s the backbone. Best Hall of Science is ground zero. Home to the Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences, you’ll find excellent classrooms, impressive science labs, a 225-seat auditorium, and the Laker Lounge. With so many great science programs, this is where you’ll find Trine’s largest single classroom on campus.
Home to the Rinker-Ross School of Health Sciences offers undergraduate degrees with majors including exercise science, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, and forensic science. In addition, we have direct admitted tracks for physical therapy and physician assistant programs in conjunction with Trine’s College of Health Professions. Over the past five years, we have successfully placed students into pharmacy school, medical school, physical therapy and physician assistant schools, and various graduate programs. Our school features simulation labs, smart model anatomy software, the Anatomage virtual cadaver table, cutting-edge microscopy, and hands-on learning from professors with practical experience in their respective fields. Best Hall is home to the Jannen School of Arts & Sciences and the Rinker Ross School of Health Sciences. Newly expanded and opened in 2023! The School of Health Sciences is growing quickly. Our Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Physician Assistant Studies programs are in Fort Wayne but have direct admit programs available for undergraduate students. We also have a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology and a Master of Science in Nursing in Fort Wayne. Best Hall houses classrooms, laboratories, the main upper campus computer lab, as well as math, science, and social science professor’s offices. Students can also take advantage of the IT Help Desk, located in Best. If a student has a problem with their technology, they can get the help they need. While students are not required to bring their own computer, the Help Desk can help fix any issues that arise.
