Newly opened in 2022! SDI Center the home for Trine’s biomedical engineering and computer science and information technology departments. It features state-of-the-art technology, flexible labs and classrooms, an active learning lab with a maker space to foster creativity, and bright, open spaces for collaboration and conversation. The first-floor houses Storms-a-Brewing Station. This is an excellent opportunity for students to grab snacks or coffee in between classes and it accepts meal swipes. The Grab-and-Go Station is also housed in the SDI Center and offers more options for snacks for students. SDI Center houses classrooms, laboratories, and professor’s offices. The Makerspace or the Mill is a lab housed in the SDI Center. Open to all students during designated times. It is a place for students to come in and be creative, there are a variety of machines and tools for creating various projects.
