The University Center is the central place for many events on campus. Some of the things inside the Center include a newly expanded dining hall, Student Life offices, Career Services, theater, broadcasting station, library, Student Support Services, and the UC Store. Radio station & podcast studio – broadcast football, volleyball, hockey, basketball, baseball, and softball. Campus Safety – 24/7/365 coverage on campus. Mail Room. Career Services – critical in helping our students develop professional skill sets that will prepare them for their career. Students can work on campus in a variety of capacities. The staff also hosts numerous industry-specific job fairs throughout the year and professional development opportunities for students such as résumé building and training for interviews. The LINK (Library of Information, Networking, and Knowledge) is on the first floor. 40 computer workstations are perfect for students to work on their projects, also open 24/7. The Sponsel Library is upstairs, as it is a quiet environment for our students to study. There are also meeting rooms upstairs where students can get together to work on group projects. The writing center is inside the LINK in the back-right corner of the LINK. Also, the place to find all kinds of tutoring needs. Office of Student Life on the second floor. The Dean of Students, Director of Housing, Career Services, and more offices are up there or in the LINK. Their goal is to keep students safe, happy, healthy, and entertained while on campus. Free massage chairs, coffee and some of the finals events that are put on, moonlight breakfast, and free professional massages. Whitney Commons Cafeteria. Buffet style, wide variety of food and the main dining hall. The hours vary with the different specials they have.
