Arthur J. Rooney Athletic Field is named in honor of the founder of the Pittsburgh Steelers (and Duquesne alumnus). The University’s football team, men’s and women’s soccer teams, and the women’s lacrosse team compete on that field. At Rooney Field’s eastern end is the field house, with locker rooms, an athletic training room and coaches’ offices.
