Ireland Hall currently has the office of the Cowley College Foundation. After completing the Tyler Technical Education Center in 2024, classes have vacated Ireland Hall, although the building continues to be a valued part of Cowley College.
The building, now known to the community as Ireland Hall, has been a piece of history in Arkansas City since its construction began in 1890. During this time, it has been a center for learning, a USO Teen Town, a location for Red Cross operations during World War II, and an iconic focal point of the Cowley College campus since its acquisition in the 1970s.
Storm Shelters in this building are located in the Basement. In the event of an emergency evacuation from this building, please gather in the Calder Bonfy Amphitheater.
