The Seaboard Depot Art Studios is home to individual art studios for faculty and senior- and advanced-level art students. The Depot is home to the Art History program with a study room and lecture hall, and it frequently presents public exhibitions. The historic building, originally called the Seaboard Air Line Railway Freight Depot, was built in 1902 to serve the riverfront mills and warehouses. With support from the Mildred Miller Fort Foundation and others, the Depot was renovated for the Department of Art.
