One of the premier collegiate golf facilities in the country, the Key Golf Studio, home of CSU's Men's Golf and Women's Golf programs, sits on 13 acres along University Avenue. It features a 30,000-square-foot tee box, two chipping greens surrounded by an acre and a half chipping area of Bermuda grass, a 10,000-square-foot TifEagle putting green, five Zoysia grass target greens, and a fairway bunker — all within a 300-yard practice range. Two indoor hitting bays and the latest in golf technology allow golfers to work on their game when the weather prevents outdoor practice.
The facility is named for former collegiate and senior golfer, longtime Columbus State supporter and CSU Hall of Famer James W. "Billy" Key
