Widely recognized as one of the finest Division II-level baseball facilities in the country, Burger King Stadium hosts the CSU Cougars Baseball team when they play at home, and has also been the site for conference tournaments, NCAA regionals, junior college events, and high school games. It features chairback seating in its covered spectator area. The facility was renovated in 2015-16 and named in recognition of support from Schuster Enterprises, local Burger King franchise owners. The field was named in 2000 in honor of Columbus State's first baseball coach, Charles F. Ragsdale, who built the strong tradition of baseball that is still in place today. Ragsdale won 476 games in his 15-year tenure compiling a winning percentage of .634.
