LeNoir Hall is home to laboratories and facilities supporting research in the Department of Biology, Department of Chemistry and Department of Earth & Space Sciences — all departments of the College of Letters & Sciences. It also includes classrooms, student lounges, meeting rooms and study spaces.

It is named for Dr. William "Bill" LeNoir, who served as acting president of then-Columbus College twice during his 34-year career as a botany professor. LeNoir retired as dean emeritus in 1995.
