Home to CSU Softball, Cougar Field is regarded as one of the top softball facilities in the entire country to watch a softball game. Not only did the field serve as the practice site for the 1996 Olympic Team, but it has been used by several top Division I schools for practices and also hosted numerous games and tournaments for both high school and junior colleges. It features a covered hitting and pitching facility, providing the Lady Cougars a place to practice regardless of weather conditions. The "Cougar Cave" is a 6,000-square-foot turf facility featuring features six multi-use cages with three pitching areas.
