Current Kinesiology majors have access to several hands-on learning including human performance, exercise physiology, pedagogy, biomechanics, and strength and conditioning labs. The human performance lab has a Parvo Medics 2400 metabolic cart, YSI Sports Lactate Analyzer, Quinton treadmill, and FitnessAge assessment computer and student athletes are often tested by fellow students to track performance and body composition over time. The facility has room for 20 students to participate in laboratory activities and is used in several courses in the kinesiology major for undergraduates and those seeking a master’s degree. The building has a large open space with ping pong tables and a roomy student lounge/computer room for relieving stress or just to gather and study.
The Title V Grant Initiatives Office is located on the north end of the East Campus Building
