Visual Arts Building

From the classic fine arts of sculpture, painting, and drawing to the craft of ceramics and jewelry-making to photography, printmaking and graphic design. Students of all majors can take a course designed to inspire every creative soul. Large studio spaces with equipment designed to take art to its next level including pottery throwing wheels and kilns, a print room with facilities for monotype, woodcuts, screen printing, and a sculpture foundry, as well as old-school black-and-white darkrooms. Students interested in graphic design or digital photography have access to a computer lab equipped with the latest software and printers. Future art educators are exposed to a variety of art-making as well as the latest in pedagogy.

The Hatfield Gallery provides students with the opportunity to exhibit their work throughout the academic year. The Cloyde Snook Gallery hosts professional artists from around the nation.
