The Lila D. Bunch Library is located on the west side of Belmont Boulevard and houses four floors of resources that are available to students, faculty, staff and alumni. Whether you’re looking for sources for your research paper, need to listen to a classic record in our media collection or just want a quiet place to study, Bunch Library offers it all. With seating for 500 students, the library is a great place to read and research with wireless internet, 70 computers, group study rooms and one-on-one help from librarians. Plus, the library opens at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoons and stays open 24 hours a day through 7 p.m. Friday night so you certainly have a place to go if pulling an all-nighter becomes necessary. The library is also open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturdays.
The library is also home to several museum spaces that are open to the public.
The Gallery of Iconic Guitars, also known as The GIG, represents Music City’s premier venue designed to celebrate some of the rarest guitars and stringed instruments in the world.
The Hart Studio Museum is the largest permanent collection of Frederick Hart's work available for public viewing. Deemed one of America’s greatest sculptors, Frederick Hart (1943-1999), sculptor and recipient of the National Medal of Arts, created works that forever changed the national landscape such as Washington National Cathedral’s “Creation Sculptures” and “Three Soldiers” bronze at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
Leu Art Gallery, which is free and open to the public, showcases both student and professional art.
