The university quadrangle is the gathering spot for a variety of campus and public events. Located in the center of campus and surrounded by the Administration, Ward Edwards, Humphreys and W.C. Morris buildings, the quadrangle features the university flagpole, a gift from the classes of 1970, with plaques commemorating the Bill of Rights, the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution. The quadrangle is also home to the centennial time capsule, which was buried during UCM’s 1971 centennial celebration to be opened in 2071.
