Pertle Springs (PER)
The Pertle Springs recreation area, located south of the main campus, is a 300-acre park that provides hiking trails, Lake Cena, and an outdoor activity area for the campus and community. The area was developed in the 1880s as a mineral springs resort, and was acquired by UCM in the 1960s. Also located in Pertle Springs is the Mules National Golf Club, home to the Earl Keth Memorial Golf Course and the Audrey J. Walton Clubhouse, which houses the pro shop and Traditions restaurant. The golf course underwent a recent renovation and features an indoor training facility.
