Dockery Building (D)
The oldest building on the campus, the Dockery Building was constructed in 1905 and survived the catastrophic 1915 fire that destroyed Old Main, the main classroom building at the time. Named for former Missouri Governor Alexander Dockery, it has housed a variety of university academic and athletic programs. Built as a gymnasium, it also served as a barracks and armory during World War I and was remodeled into a classroom building in 1960. The building now houses office and computer laboratories for the Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies.
