James C. Kirkpatrick Library (JCKL)

The state-of-the-art James C. Kirkpatrick library was completed in 1999, providing 20,000 square feet of floor space in three stories and more than 2.3 million volumes of material. The library also houses the Arthur F. McClure Archives and University Museum, Learning Commons, Einstein Brothers Bagels and the Jimmy K. Campus Canteen. The building is named for Missouri’s longest-serving secretary of state and UCM alumnus, who became UCM’s elder statesman prior to his death in 1997. Library hours can be found online.
