D’Youville has shared a long and rich history with Holy Angels Church since our founding in 1908, and in 2020 D’Youville purchased the church and its accompanying buildings.
The iconic church was founded by the Grey Nuns, who also founded D’Youville, and D’Youville purchased Holy Angels School in 1999. That building is now the Montante Family Library.
While plans for the main space and how to best preserve, honor, and celebrate its legacy while transitioning it to its future use are still underway, you can be certain its future with D’Youville and in our community will be bright.
The auxiliary chapel is open for service to the community and is where mass is held for students during the semester. There is also a community space off the chapel for events.
