Health Professions HUB

HUB Exterior Connecticut 4

The Health Professions Hub (Hub) is an education, training, and community health center where students and health professionals from eight of our academic disciplines come together to provide specialized medical services to individuals and families from surrounding neighborhoods underserved by the healthcare industry.

The Hub features a clinic, pharmacy, rehabilitation and wellness center, demonstration kitchen, high-tech simulation center, and more. The Hub is where students train to become future health care providers through innovative educational methods emphasizing interprofessional, patient-centered practice — all while serving our university-wide mission to support healthy, thriving communities.

On the first floor of the Hub, you will find a Starbucks café to get your coffee fix and a light meal. The Hub Café is run by our dining services, so students can use their meal plan dollars at this location.

Almost any time of day you will find students studying on the second and third floors in a space called the Hive. These modern study spaces have a lot of options for group or private study. If you are looking to get some sun, students can also use the outdoor patio on the third floor to study or just enjoy the views.

From events to learning activities to specifically designed student spaces, the Hub is designed to bring new experiences to the D’Youville campus.
