Aviation Technology Complex (AVNC) houses all of UAA’s aviation facilities for Aviation Technology courses. Classes in support of degrees and certificates in air traffic Control, aircraft maintenance, aviation management, and piloting are offered here. The facility is strategically located on the Merrill Field airport. Students who utilize the resources in this facility and courses offered will be prepared for high paying, high demand careers in the commercial aviation industry. They will be equipped with crucial knowledge and skills necessary to meet the needs of employers in the flight, control, maintenance, and support of aircraft moving through the National Airspace System (NAS).
