YVC's WorkFirst program and Educational Service District 105's LINK program are located in the Skills Center. WorkFirst helps TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) recipients gain the skills they need to prepare for a better job. Through WorkFirst, students can enroll in a variety of vocational and training programs that provide pathways to in-demand, high-wage jobs. WorkFirst students are eligible for financial assistance to pay for tuition, fees and books. LINK serves young adults ages 18-21 with developmental and intellectual disabilities across Yakima County to help them transition from high school to adulthood.
